The purpose of the foundation is in creating knowledge and shaping the character of our future generations by challenging them to create new ways of thinking, to reach out and take up tasks beyond their comfort zone and to generate a dynamic paradigm that will shape the future of the world.

As one of the oldest architectural institutions in the country, Bombay Suburban Art and Craft Education Society, L.S. Raheja School of Architecture has witnessed and been an essential part of its spatial development. Since its opening in 1953 the school has been dedicated in shaping the future of the students through advanced infrastructure, trained professional faculty and a curriculum that has been tuned to offer opportunities for intellectual risk-taking and application of classroom learning to real life situations. Innovative approach in the building sciences courses and integration of the social sciences courses with the design subjects highlights the school’s futuristic vision in creating an environmentally sensitive and socially just society.
Every year the institution welcomes a diverse batch of students from all over the country thereby contributing to an inter-cultural knowledge exchange. We believe in collaboration and partnership between our students and faculty members as a key in creating a learning experience at the institute.
