Ar. Mandar Parab
PRINCIPAL
Principal Ar. Mandar V. Parab is an alumnus of L.S. Raheja School of
Architecture. While studying Architecture he simultaneously gained
education in the field of Interior Design. He completed his Govt.
Diploma in Interior Design education in the year 1994 and went on to
complete his Architecture in 1996 with 1st class honors. He also
completed his Master in Architecture (General) with 1st Class honors,
from Rachana Sansad affiliated to Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open
University, Nashik in the year 2008.

A mindful leader and a diligent administrator added to his keen
passion for teaching makes him balance his teaching and professional
career admirably. He has been associated in the capacity as full time
and visiting professor with several institutions imparting
architecture and interior design education for the past 25 years. A
practicing architect, he has worked on several commercial, residential
and institutional projects till date. He is a Runner up award
recipient of COA recognized Architectural design competition for
Octroi Check Post of Mumbai organized by MCGM. He was felicitated by
Society Interiors Awards for his contribution in Profession and
Education in the year 2019. His association L.S. Raheja School of
Architecture & School of Interior Design has been ongoing for the past
25 years. Initially associated as a visiting teacher, and since 2010
as full time core faculty, mandar Parab was appointed Head of
Department in 2014, eventually taking over as Principal in 2018 and
serving his alma mater with dedication. Throughout his teaching career
he has been extremely critical of the teaching learning methods. He
has always believed in transferring and sharing knowledge for
culturing new generations of students as well as contemporary
teachers. Under his guidance, adopting innovative pedagogics relevant
for the industry has always been a prime focus at the institute. He
formulated the course syllabus for the Modular interior Design
Programme and with his efforts the B.Voc (ID) programme was started at
the institute. Out of the many first time resources at institute,
under his eminent vision the institute initiated the ‘On campus
Interviews’ through placement cell for the graduating students. He is
a guide and mentor to many in subjects like Design Dissertation,
Advance Building Construction, Building Services, and Interior Design.
He has written articles and conducted lecture series for Quality
improvement training of various Industries. He has extensively
travelled on study programmes with students in India and
Internationally.
Ar. Milind Amle

As a senior faculty he teaches Architecture Design / Technical Subjects and Design Dissertation Guide where approach is to teach various subjects by creating a dynamic academic environment with a focus on learning by doing. As a teaching faculty he is responsible for administrative work as well actively involved as a member of the Design and Research Cell .h has participated in various competitions and won the awards for many of them. Mentored two week long courses and workshops for past several years for teachers and practitioners under quality improvement program organized by the council of Architecture.

Ar. Sachin Prabhu
PROFESSOR
Sachin Prabhu is an Architect from Sir J.J. College of Architecture,
Mumbai, 1991 with First Class Honours. He has completed M. Arch. General
in August 2009 with First Class from Rachna Sansad affiliated to
Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University of Nasik. He has also
completed the Diploma Course in Interior Design and Decoration
successfully from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture Bandra (West) in
May 1985.

He has worked several Professional Architectural, Commercial and
Residential Interior Projects, Architectural miniature model making,
as Vastu consultant from 1988 till date. Having made education his
priority and passion, he has been teaching full time since 2005, and
at LSRSoA since June 2008. Presently, he is Professor at L.S.Raheja
School of Architecture. He is a versatile teacher for all subjects
with a wide range from Design to Technical applications for all five
years of architecture including Design Dissertation. He was nominated
as Ideal Teacher for “Basic Design” and “Humanities” for MASA Best
Teacher Awards 2007.
Ar. Meghana Patil
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Meghana completed her Bachelors in Architecture with a First Class from
Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture in 2009 and her Masters in
Construction Management with a Distinction from Rachana Sansad’s Project
Management Institute in 2014. She has been a full time faculty at the
L.S. Raheja School of Architecture since 2011. Before joining the
institute she has worked on several hospitality, commercial and
industrial projects as a Project architect at Associated Architects and
R.V. Dalvi and Associates.

With over eleven years of industry experience, she is the co-founder
and Principal Architect at Rohan Patil Architects. In the past decade
she has worked on residential projects in Panvel, Pen and Nagpur. She
has also worked on varied and multiple interior design projects.
Meghana believes that best teaching requires innovation, interaction
and constant upgradation of knowledge; and her work helps her achieve
this goal. She has been an invitee multiple times, for Faculty
ExChange Programs and teaching collaborations with other architectural
colleges. She is also a certified special juror for the examinations
conducted by Nagpur University. At L.S. Raheja School of Architecture,
Meghana has been integral at aiding organisation and execution of
several events through the years. She is also a senior member of the
faculty team and is involved with not just academia but also the
overall administrative aspects of the Institute.
Ar. Arun Fizardo
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Arun is an architect from Indian Education Society’s College of
Architecture, Mumbai University passed with First Class in May 2007. He
also completed M.Arch. in Theory and Design from CEPT University,
Ahmedabad in October 2012. He has worked for 3 years on various interior
and architectural projects in Dara B. Mistry and Partners, Mumbai and
Vector Design, Dubai from May 2007 to August 2010.

Arun has worked as Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2019 and is
currently Associate Professor at the institute. As the coordinator of
Placement Cell and member of Research and Design Cell, his
contribution to the institute beyond academics is immense.
Ar. Anuj Gudekar
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Anuj completed his Bachelors in Architecture from Academy of
Architecture (Mumbai University) in May 2005.He has attained a Masters
in Science degree in Energy Efficient and Sustainable Building from
Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.

Anuj interned with Sp+a (Sameep Padora &Associates) and later worked
with Bijoy Jain & Associate and later at Vijay Munshi & Associates as
an Assistant Architect, where he has worked on several architectural &
interior projects from July 2005 to 2007. He then went to pursue his
Masters in UK. He also worked with McBain’s Cooper while he was in
Oxford, UK where he worked as an Architectural Assistant and assisted
Professor Mary Hancock (course leader MSc EESB, Oxford Brookes
University) in her research for a school in Pakistan. He is currently
a partner and Principal Architect in earth-HAB, a firm specializing in
Sustainable design & consultancy. He is also pursuing his second
post-graduate degree, a Master of Architecture in Landscape, through
L.S. Raheja School of Architecture. Anuj joined LSR in the year 2009
as visiting faculty and as core faculty in 2010. He teaches Advanced
Climatology, Architectural Design, Architectural Representation &
Detailing, Building Construction and Design Dissertation. He
encourages active participation of students in competitions and
extracurricular activities and has been one of the key forces in
motivating students and guiding them to achieve their goals. He was
instrumental in successfully starting a lecture series ‘Insights’
intended at facilitating interaction between the academics and
professional industry. He has also been instrumental in remodelling
the workshops conducted in the school and has successfully organised
the workshops by internationally reputed architects, Artists as well
as addressing the issues of mental health and women’s safety. He
realised the need for school’s presence on social media and has been
actively handling the schools Instagram account and updating the
activities and events. He has also been a jury member for
international Design Competitions hosted by Volume Zero.en a jury

Ar. Swanand Mahashabde
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Swanand completed his Bachelors in Architecture from Bharati Vidyapeeth
College (Mumbai University) in May 2008. He completed his MSc in
Sustainable and Low-Energy Architecture from London Metropolitan
University, United Kingdom with a postgraduate distinction, and
completed his second masters in Landscape Architecture from L. S. Raheja
School of Architecture (Mumbai University) with a first class.

He interned with Vikas Dilawari Architects and worked with Patell
Batliwala Associates as an Assistant Architect before pursuing his
masters in the UK . In the United Kingdom he interned with Ar. Bill
Dunster of ZedFactory and worked with Burrell Architects as an
Architectural assistant. He also assisted Professor Luisa Brotas
(course leader MSc AES, London Metropolitan University) for her
daylighting consultancy. Post his masters in the UK he has worked as a
project architect for Metro Infra Design Consultants and Architect
Rushikesh H. alongside continuing his passion for teaching. Swanand
has taught in a few colleges for B.Arch and M.Arch courses before
joining LSR in 2017. He currently teaches Architectural Design,
Landscape (allied design), Working Drawings, daylight analysis
(elective) and Humanities.
Ar. Mridula Pillai
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Mridula completed her Bachelors in Architecture from Academy of
Architecture (Mumbai University) in May 2005 with first class honours.
Mridula was NASA Unit Secretary of Academy of Architecture in the year
2003-04. She has attained a Masters in Science degree in Energy
Efficient and Sustainable Building from Oxford Brookes University,
United Kingdom with first class honours.

She started her career as an intern with Ar. Malaksingh Gill at
Sambhav Architects. She later worked with Bijoy Jain & Associate and
Vijay Munshi & Associates as an Assistant Architect, where she has

2007, after which she went to pursue her Masters degree in UK. In
United Kingdom she also worked in an architectural firm as an

Ar. Sachin Vedak
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Sachin is an architect from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for
Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai University, May 2006. He
also completed his M.Arch in Environmental Architecture from Rachana
Sansad’s institute of Environmental Architecture in 2015, affiliated to
Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra open University, Nasik.

He worked with Pankaj Joshi Consultant and Studio Architecture from
May 2006 to October 2010. In this period he has worked on Hospitals,
Office buildings, Citizen Facilitation Centre, Residential and
Interior projects in Mumbai. He has previously taught at Academy of
Architecture for over 6 years prior to joining L.S.Raheja school of
Architecture. He is associated with L.S.Raheja school of Architecture
since June 2013 as an Assistant Professor, teaching design and
technical subjects. For the first year architecture students he
formulated an elective called 'Mechanism's in nature' to study the
application of mechanics in nature to architecture. He has designed
installations out of plastic waste and been participating in Kala
Ghoda art festival for the past 4 years along with the students; they
have also received a certificate of honour for their 'Time in the
subconscious' installation in 2019.
Ar. Neeta Sarode
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Ar. Neeta M. Sarode, a practising architect, completed her graduation in
architecture in 1998 from Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture and
completed her Masters in Environmental Architecture in 2017 with a first
class, from Rachana Sansad affiliated to YMCOU. She has been teaching in
LSRSoA since 2001 and is proud to be a part of the faculty team.
Ar. Mildred Jose
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Ar. Mildred Jose completed her Bachelors in architecture from LBH
College of Architecture, Bandra in 2010,with first class. She has also
obtained a Master’s degree of M.Arch in Urban Design from Kamla Raheja
Vidyanidhi Institute in 2013 with first class honours. She started her
career with Ar. Solanki and Associates as an intern while pursuing
B.Arch. After attaining her degree, she worked as a Junior Architect
with G.D. Sambhare and Associates and Della Tecnica.

Architect, she has worked primarily on healthcare, interiors,
landscape and other architectural projects. After completing her
Masters degree, she worked with Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) as an urban
design trainee and consultant for a prestigious project proposal for
the city of Bombay. She is an Assistant Professor and has an
experience of 6 years in teaching. She teaches Urban Design & Town
Planning, Architectural Design, Humanities,Municipal Drawing, Working
Drawing, Architectural theory and Building Services. She has a prime
interest in research, she has presented and written papers on several
platforms and is also involved in editorial works. With a profound
interest in historical studies, she completed her 1st Year of MA in
history with first class and is currently awaiting her final
examination results.
Ar. Shradhanand Narkar
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Shradhanand graduated from Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture,
Mumbai in 2003 and completed PG Diploma in Project Management in
Building Construction in 2005 with First Class Honors from Rachana
Sansad’s Project Management Institute.

renowned organisations such as Lodha, Phoenix Marketcity, Kalpataru
and Sunteck. Shradhanand is an Assistant Professor at LSRSA since
2018, member of the Research and Design Cell and also manages a varied
range of professional projects under his proprietary consultancy
S.N.Architects.
Ar. Deepa Desai
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Deepa is a practising architect with four years of experience. She
completed her graduation at Asmita College of Architecture, Mumbai and
pursued her Masters in Urban conservation in Architecture at Kamla
Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and environmental studies,
Mumbai with first-class honours. She has been a part of the editorial
team in 2017 for the Reflections of KRVIA 2007-17.

Her work of urban conservation on ‘local area plan in heritage
precinct’ got published on messmatrix.blogspot.com. She was nominated
for the same in MVUD Oct 2018. Deepa’s research in cultural
conservation got nominated for NIASA 19-20. She is a history
enthusiast and enjoys teaching humanities, architectural theory and
other technical subjects at the institute.
Ar. Charvi Kamat
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Charvi Kamat completed her B.Arch.from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
Institute of Technology (SVIT), Vasad in 2014 and joined SnK where she
worked under the tutelage of Brinda somaya. She led a number of
commercial & institutional projects in SnK from concept to execution and
acquired hands-on knowledge of professional practice before persuing her
master’s degree.

She completed her M.Arch. in Urban Design from CEPT, Ahmedabad in 2018
where Charvi developed an interest in teaching & decided to work as a
faculty. She brings a profound knowledge of Urban design practices
into academics along with her practical experience in the field. Since
having started teaching in 2019 with LS Raheja School of Architecture,
she is involved with teaching technical subjects, Architectural
Design, Architectural Theory, Allied Design – Urban Design and Allied
Design -Town Planning.
Ar. Ninad Sansare
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Ninad completed his Bachelor in Architecture from LBH College of
Architecture (Mumbai University) in 2017 with 9 point CGPA securing the
third position in Mumbai University. He went on studying for Masters in
Urbanism (urban planning and design) from Delft University of Technology
(TU Delft), Netherlands and finished it in 2019 with distinction. Before
joining a full-time faculty member at LSR school of architecture, Ninad

interests include urban planning, governance, regional design, methods
and analysis in urbanism and architecture. He is currently involved in
teaching architectural theory, architectural design, urban planning,
urban design, humanities and some technical subjects. His teaching
philosophy involves a multidisciplinary approach and method
triangulation.
Ar. Shraddha Palande
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Shraddha Palande completed her B.Arch from Samyak Sankalpa College of
Architecture (Mumbai University) in 2015 with first class. She completed
her M.Arch in Landscape Architecture from L. S. Raheja School of
Architecture with first class. Before pursuing her master’s degree, she
worked as an intern at Space Enviro Architects on Architectural and
Industrial projects and then worked as an Architect at Arunkumar
Designers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd. where she got an opportunity to work
on large scale Landscape projects.

Later she worked as an Architect at Swati Dike Landscape Architect and
Planner where she was trained under the guidance of Ar. Swati Dike and
worked from conceptual to execution stage for various residential and
commercial landscape projects. She has a professional experience of
working in the field of Landscape along with teaching Landscape design
as a visiting faculty at Academy of Architecture and CTES College of
Architecture before joining LSR in 2021. She is an active member of
ISOLA and involved in different initiatives of ISOLA Mumbai chapter.
She teaches Allied design – Landscape, Architectural design, Building

Ar. Gargi Karve
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Ar. Gargi Karve has graduated from L.S.Raheja School of Architecture,
Mumbai, in the year 2014. She has ranked 2nd in state of Maharashtra at
the Mumbai University Examinations T.Y.B.Arch, with many scholarships
from TATA and IIA during all five years of B.Arch.

She has completed her Post Graduation from CEPT University, Ahmedabad
with Majors in Architecture Design and Minors in Urban Design in the
year 2019. Her professional journey started from working with one of
the reputed Architects of India, Chandrashekhar Kanetkar. The projects
ranged from bunglows to club houses and town planning. She has also
worked with one of India’s top Architecture firms, Edifice Consultants
Pvt. Ltd. For over two years. Being part of the Think Tank Vertical at
ECPL, she worked on array of projects such as Museums, Stadiums,
Sports facilities, Hotels & Resorts, Hospitals and so on. As Faculty,
she has worked at Aditya College of Architecture in 2016-17 where she
contributed in subjects such as Architecture Design, Humanities,
Software electives, Graphics, Freehand and Landscape Design. Here, at
L.S.Raheja School of Architecture she has undertaken similar subjects
and is intending to enhance the students with knowledge and skill sets
which shall help them thrive in their professional journey.
Ar. Bhakti Sawant Salunke
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
An Alumnus of LSRSoA, Bhakti graduated in the year 2008 and completed
her Masters in Environmental Architecture in 2014 with a first class,
from Rachana Sansad Institute of Environmental Architecture affiliated
to YCMOU.She is IGBC accredited professional since 2017.

One of the leading organizations in India as a Manager in Co-corporate
Real Estate Services Department on various commercial as well as
office buildings.She has worked on several retail projects with
Phoenix marketcity group,Mumbai as well as on residential township
projects,religious building complexes such as Iskcon Kanpur,Iskcon
Mayapur headquarters with Ar.Premnath and associates,Mumbai/Kolkata.
She has been a full time teaching faculty since 2016 and has keen
interest in research paper writing /publication.She has few national
as well as international publications to her name. Her research paper
on “Harnessing beauty for Sanitation buildings in India “got selected
for the year 2021-22 MASA publication, Research topic abstract on
postcolonial subaltern architecture got selected for AVANI annual
abstract publication (year 2022-23) and the IDRC annual research
publication (year 2022-23) for the topic Sustainability from core to
shell. Currently she has been associated with L.S. Raheja School of
Architecture, in the capacity of full-time core from the academic year
2023-24.
Ar. Divya Menon
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Divya completed her Bachelors in Architecture from Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) Surat in 2006 and her Masters in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) New Delhi in 2010 with a First Class Distinction. She interned with Prof. KT Ravindran where she was part of a team that worked on the design and execution of The Kitchen Museum in the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

In the subsequent years she has worked over a range of residential, institutional and commercial projects under eminent architecture practices- Chandavarkar & Thacker Architects (CnT) Bengaluru; Mani Chowfla, New Delhi; and STUP, Mumbai. As a senior urban development consultant for the Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC), her work focused on large scale urban design, local area planning and community design processes. As an urban development consultant in Heritage Conservation Committee (HCC), New Delhi she worked on the Heritage Master Plan of Delhi and assisted Prof. Narayani Gupta on the inclusion of post independent iconic buildings in the Heritage List of Delhi. In recent years, her own design practice has revolved around community based projects and conservation. The search for skills and knowledge enhancements arising from her interests in architecture and urban issues has been sustained through design, writing, research and travel.
Ar. Anushka Sanas
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Anushka Sanas has completed her Bachelors from Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai in 2015 and Masters in Landscape Architecture from L.S.Raheja College of Architecture, Mumbai with first class.

Ar. Harish Nayar
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Harish is an Architect from Pillai HOC College of Architecture, University of Mumbai.
He worked as an Architect with Shin Takamatsu Architect and Associates Co.Ltd, Japan and has been a Partner (Projects-India) with the firm since August 2020.

Harish has also worked as an Architect with renowned Indian practices like Vishwas Kulkarni at Pune, Atelier Design and Domain (ADND) in Mumbai.
He earlier taught Architecture at Lokmanya Tilak Institute of Architecture and Design Studies, Navi Mumbai under Prof.Habib Khan the former President of the Council of Architecture, India.

Ar. Anisha Joshi
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Ar. Anisha Jatin Joshi completed her Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with a first class from M.S. University of Baroda in 2014. She subsequently earned her Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in Urban Design from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture in 2024, also graduating with a first class.

Prior to her master's degree, she gained valuable experience working with Panika under the mentorship of the late Ar. Nimish Patel and Ar. Parul Zaveri. She then held positions as a junior architect at Dimensions Design Consultants and as a senior architect at Sindus Architects. With over seven years of professional experience, her expertise spans residential and institutional design. Her research interests include Child-Friendly Cities, Inclusive Urban Design, and Vernacular Architecture.
Ar. Rahul Walimbe

Rahul Walimbe Architect by profession completed Bachelor of Architecture with Interior Design from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Architecture & Masters in Project Management from Baliram Hirey College of Architecture, Has total 10 years’ experience in field & 7 years is Academics.

He has worked with few Architectural firms across city for a brief periods those are Space Enviro Architects & Planners, Dombivli. Rajesh Kumbhar Associates, Bhwandi. Planoscapes Architects & planners, Mumbai. The projects handled during this tenor were Institutional, Industrial, Residential, Lake Restoration & Interior projects. Started his own practice in 2018 designing different scales of projects in Architecture & Interior across the city & associated with other firms for projects. He had inclination to academics so started teaching from 2018 associated to colleges like Samyak Sankalp College of Architecture & Lokmanya tilak College of Architecture & prior joining L.S.Raheja. The ideology he believe in is “Architect designs for present with awareness of the past & for the future which unknown”
Ar. Krishnan V.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Krishnan has completed his bachelor of architecture from L.S. Raheja
School of Architecture in 2001. He is partner at Krishnan Parvez
Architects, KPa established in 2003 and have since then done numerous
architectural, interior design projects. He has been associated with
L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, in the capacity of full-time adhoc
since academic year 2018-19.
Ar. Shraddha Geevith
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
An alumnus of the LSRSOA, who graduated in 1996, Shraddha gathered her
early professional experience working at Rumy Shroff and Associates.
Incepted her own practice with Shraddha Geevith and Associates that has
offices in Bombay and Pune, Shraddha is a Founder/Director at Design
Nexus Pvt. Ltd. with their office in Mumbai.

She has been closely associated with Architecture Education, being a
visiting faculty for Architecture and Interior Design at several
reputed architecture colleges across Mumbai.
Ar. Geevith Raghavan
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
An Alumnus of LSRSoA, Geevith graduated in the year 1993. An
ex-associate at P. K Das Consultants from 1994 to 1995, he has been
successfully running his own practice for the last 25 years as Principal
Architect – Design Nexus Architects & Founder Director – Design Nexus
Pvt. Ltd. He has been involved in designing projects in diverse fields
including but not limited to: Urban Design, Architecture, Interiors &
Landscape;

with projects across categories such as: Defence, Government, Mass
Transport, Institutional, Industrial, Corporate, High-end Housing,
Bungalow, International Events, Environment, Banking, Recreation,
Manufacturing, Retail & Health and has also collaborated with reputed
Architectural Firms firms like P. K. Das Consultants, Team Design &
Ethique on various projects. Over the last 25 years, Geevith has been
a Visiting Faculty for Urban Design Master’s Program, Architectural
Design & Thesis and Interior Design at colleges like, LSRSoA Mumbai,
AOA Mumbai, PVP Polytechnic, SNDT Mumbai & SMMCA Nagpur. He has been
on the Advisory Committee of ‘Degree Programme Implementation’ and
‘Board of Studies’ at SNDT-Mumbai.
